  • What do I need to bring with to a class?

No need to bring anything except maybe water and a small towel. We will supply the rest!

  • What do I need to wear?

For the ladies: tight fitting leggings or ski-pants are a great choice as they allow more movement and tops that stay in place and does not flash.

For the men: longer type shorts with a narrow leg or ski-pant will allow for comfortable movement. No PT-shorts.

  • Will Pilates help me lose weight?

Pilates is fantastic for toning and helps with strengthening and flexibility. If you need to lose 10KG’s then it will be necessary to add a strict diet and cardio to your programme.

  • Is Pilates only for women?

Pilates is for everyone! Male and female, young and old!

  • Can I come to a Pilates session if I am in pain?

Always check with your instructor first. Explain the symptoms and the reason possible for the pain and decide together what the best action would be.

  • What if my session falls on a public holiday?

The studio will be closed on public holidays. If your session falls on a public holiday, you can either make it up on our Saturday morning class or any one of the other classes during the week.

  • What if something comes up and I can’t make a class?

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for a cancellation to be valid. In the case of valid cancellation you will be allowed to make up the class in another time during the week.

  • Can I get a credit if I miss a class?

Unfortunately there are no credits (no refunds) for a classes missed. If a valid cancellation (within 24 hours) is made then the client will be allowed to make up the session at another time.

  • I have never done Pilates before, I am a beginner, are there any beginner classes?

The classes will be 70% managed according to what we think who would work best with who. Each client is required to do a Body Assessment beforehand and ideally 1 or 2 sessions (if you are a complete novice) before joining any group class. This will ensure flow in the classes, it will make it easier for the instructor to manage and more enjoyable for everyone.

  • Do we have card facilities?

We do not have card facilities. All payments are to be done via EFT or we can arrange for a debit order.
